you could just buy some black pickguard material and make your own...

Shaun

been thinkin about that, dont know what I'd use to cut it out...dremel? only thing I have that I can think of.

shathe

well, if you can find someone with a sander/shaper. that might work.
you might try calling esp. they might be able to get you one...

Shaun

I emailed em a pretty good while ago, no reply..

shathe

i've called em a few times and actually get a human, so you might try that...

mihnea

is that guitar finished yet???

Shaun

GUYS.
GUYS.
GUYS...
bought meself a brand new black floyd special.

Shaun

So i got the floyd.
Very excite.
So herrreeess the thing.
The locking nut screw holes are a little to close together, know how to fix that.
The trem claw screw holes are just wack, can fix that too.
My problem here is that the posts that it came with are too big for the holes in the body, and theres a metal plate on top of the holes that is REALLY on there... so how do i go about refitting them?

Tim M.

I would be weary of removing that metal plate and the bushings. It seems it is there for reinforcement. If it is removed there may not be enough material and the wood may collapse.

Shaun

Had some posts from an old floyd. They fit so im using em
