Which digital recorder?

    I have been looking at some digital recorders and they are all very new to me so a little help would be great, especially from some owners. I want something that will take down my guitar tracks and some other tracks if I needed it at a later time. Sound quality is very important to me and I really want some nice EQ settings. So far I have narrowed it down to: - Fostex MR-16HD - Boss BR-900CD or Boss BR-600 - Roland CD-2E SD I am not really sure what to go with but onboard effects really arent too important to me since I have my own. Just sort of the best bang for the buck in the $400 to $600 range. Thanks!!!
