TITLE: PAINT DEPARTMENT TECH

JOB SUMMARY

  • This position in the ESP USA Manufacturing Facility is responsible for the following functions within the paint department:
    • Sanding and buffing of clearcoat finished guitars
    • Must demonstrate sense of urgency in completion of orders to meet production goals
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Basic qualifications include, but not limited to:
    • Previous experience sanding/buffing/polishing of urethane and polyester resin clear coated finishes.
    • Previous experience in guitar manufacturing within a fast-paced production environment highly preferred.
    • Previous knowledge and experience with surface preparation and painting of guitars or related industries, such as autobody shops, cabinet finishing shops.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in guitar manufacturing and production operations.
  • Must speak, read, and write English.
  • Certification in guitar repair and building preferred, but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more.
  • Exposure to: loud noise, sharp tools, dangerous machinery, hot and cold temperatures/changes in climate, dust.

TITLE: FINAL ASSEMBLY TECH

JOB SUMMARY

  • This position in the ESP USA Manufacturing Facility is responsible for the following functions:
    • Assemble components/wiring harnesses
    • Fret dress
    • Assembly prep (drill holes/ream holes, install parts, electronic wiring, set-up, cut/shape bone nuts, minor finish repairs, final inspection, and packing of instrument)
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Basic qualifications include, but not limited to:
    • Previous experience in guitar manufacturing and production operations.
    • Intermediate to expert knowledge of guitar final assembly and set-up in a production setting to meet monthly goals/quotas.
    • Must speak, read, and write English.
    • Previous experience performing finish repairs (buffing scratches, correcting minor imperfections.
    • Experience in reading wiring schematics/installation diagrams.
    • Able to work with limited direction when necessary, with ability to multitask.

TITLE: GUITAR TECH

JOB SUMMARY

  • Inspect and set-up ~30 guitars a day.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Specific education in guitar set-up and maintenance is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Must have 5+ years guitar or bass playing experience with some basic set-up knowledge.
  • Must have knowledge of standard set-up equipment (tools).
  • Must speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more.

MORE INFORMATION

  • Job hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with occasional overtime.
  • Looking for hard-working and punctual techs who are willing to put in a Saturday or two out of the month if necessary.

TITLE: LINE PACKER

JOB SUMMARY

  • Pack, scan and invoice outgoing product. Load and offload containers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Scan product accurately per internal sales order
  • Properly pack product to avoid shipping damage
  • Invoice customers for all outgoing product, per internal sales order
  • Remove completed, ship-ready product from QC
  • General housekeeping and clean-up duties of personal workstation
  • Assist in product shelving, as needed
  • Unload incoming ocean containers
  • Load delivery trucks with package ship-ready product
  • General warehouse housekeeping and clean-up duties

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous warehouse experience a plus.
  • General computer literacy
  • Must speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

TITLE: PICKER

JOB SUMMARY

  • Pick and shelve product

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Pick product from warehouse shelves per sales orders
  • Submit products to QC for inspection
  • Remove completed products from QC
  • Submit shippable product to line packers
  • Shelve new product appropriately
  • Load and unload live shipments and deliveries
  • Scan incoming ocean container PO’s
  • Fill special orders upon request
  • General warehouse housekeeping and clean-up duties
  • Forklift certified; shelve and retrieve inventory with forklift

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be forklift certified
  • Some computer literacy
  • Must speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
