ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! We love getting bass videos from members of the ESP All Access community. ESP basses are the not-so-secret weapon of thousands of players in genres that range from rock and metal to reggae, jazz, pop, R&B, country, and everything in between. In this submission, Knoxville,TN-based multi-instrumentalist Ian Shuirr (known by his solo project name InVase) is doing a playthrough of his bass line from "Wendigo" by Nidra, a progressive metal band Ian plays in. He's using his older-style LTD D-6, one of the world's most popular 6-string basses. Also available in 4-string and 5-string versions, the D-6 offers neck-through-body construction, and was completely updated in 2020 with a 7-piece maple/jatoba neck, a mahogany body with a burled poplar top in Black Natural Burst Satin finish, and great-sounding ESP Designed SB-6 passive pickups with ABQ-3 3-band active EQ for tone sculpting.
