I love my 2 ESP E2 M2 Urban Camo guitars, they are both shred machines!!! The quality and workmanship put into these guitars is unmatched, I can't find anything wrong with them, their perfect!!(And I inspected them well) They play so smooth and sound killer through my Marshall stack!! Thanks ESP!!!
Hi Jshannon3, Wow! Thank you so much for believing in our product and we're happy to hear how much you like your instrument!!!
Hi Todd, Is there a specific reason why no Khlaers are offered on any production models?
Hi Patrick, thanks for your question. The Kahler model offering was usually limited to signature series models because typically there has not been much demand for Kahler compared to Floyd Rose.
Wow, that's crazy to me lol, Khaler 2315 is my go-to Trem. If this was offered with a 2315 Brass Cam with Steel Saddles, flat mount I would have bought it I just ordered this Urban Camo through Sweetwater, I tried to get them to get it with a Khaler but no such luck... hahaha. They said I would have to pay Custom shop pricing to have a different trem on it lol. Thanks for the reply
Hey Patrick, Thanks again for your input. We appreciate it and sorry I couldn't give you a better answer. It's true that custom shop pricing is much higher than standard production. It's a totally different production/factory/process.
Its cool I understand, I just wish it was offered as an option to the production model. But it sounds like its not something that can be worked in with reasonable costs. Thank you again for your reply I appreciate it
Hi Patrick, Yes I totally understand. Thanks for letting us know about this option.
Hi there, I was wondering if there was anyway to get this customized to have the woodland camo. I believe only a few of those prints were made and was wondering if it could be ordered. Thank you
Hi Nicholas, unfortunately we cannot customize production models. You can order almost any version of our guitars through our custom shop but the cost is significantly higher than a production model.
The new one is awesome! I just gave it a quick run through and it’s definitely fun guitar and the quality is A++. I must have got a bad one...it happens. I’m taking it next week with me for a setup. Kinda hard to decide if I’ll gig this beauty, but I’m sure it can take it. I’m also impressed that ESP left my negative comments up. I’m not sure other companies would do that.
My only criticism if it matters is I’d like to see ESPS come without a case and this particular model come with cheaper strings. Just my opinion, but anyone buying this guitar will get it setup to their taste and the Elixir strings it comes with will be discarded.
Thanks to again to ESP for taking care of me. Still my go to guitar brand!
Hi Jim, I'm happy to hear that our customer service team was able to help you out! Thank you for allowing us to fix the issues you had and thanks for sharing your comments (both positive and negative). It helps us be better and we appreciate your honesty.
The warranty has been solved on my Urban Camo! Hopefully, it’s as nice as my black gloss. I have to give props to ESP for making sure I was happy.
Hi Jim, Great to hear that. Thanks for posting your comments here. And as always thanks for being patient with us during our warranty process.
Hey Todd,Thanks for the response. Personally, I believe this is the typical response from ESP. Customer service is lacking. Plus, talking quality...this guitar passed inspection with a fret problem....that’s not quality. I seriously doubt anyone would contact a customer on a warranty issue. Back to the guitar. Also, the replacement guitar that was sent is the same one I purchased. Guess they did the fret work claiming a replacement. ESP tall tell story. Anyway, it appears the ESP Urban Camo at-least mine had fret issues, bumpy neck, and non existent fret markers. I don’t use them but can screw you up. My suggestion to anyone buying this guitar is to inspect carefully along with all ESP’s. There is a quality problem...I have 3 moths of emails and pics to document this. Buyer beware. This guitar is a great buy at $150, but I would never spend more than 500 on an ESP....never 5 to 2k.
Hi Jim, Thanks for your response. We always help our customers to the best of our ability and our customers are usually satisfied with our service and our quality. I get it that you are not happy with your experience and we are currently trying to solve this for you. Please keep communicating with our customer service team. Thank you.
Purchased this guitar and immediately noticed that the quality was very poor. Neck and case had issues. Sent it back to good ole ESP and this is what they found.
Really? A brand new guitar needing this amount of work? Neck functions properly? Then why does it need this amount of work? I asked for a replacement which they reluctantly agreed to. Finally, after 3 weeks UPS showed up at my door with a replacement. ESP never contacted me, or warned me that a replacement was coming. The replacement was worse. Plus, ESP just put the guitar in the box with no packing material. Fortunately, the case only received damage. Guess what? Same issues....along with fret markers barely visible. This time ESP shows their true side and informs me to contact UPS, and they would not warranty the replacement. At this point I’m kinda pissed as a 2 decades ESP owner of 15 models, so I’m posting this to warn others of their quality issues of recent. How would you feel if you purchased this model? I’m glad this wasn’t another ESP custom shop order. My last several years ago was 5k plus! In closing buyer beware?
Im sure ESP will remove this comment, but I will post it everywhere!
Hi Jim D, sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience but thanks for sharing it so we can look into it for you. This in no way sounds like a typical user experience for our instruments. We stand behind our quality and our brand, so if you purchased a new instrument from an authorized dealer, it is warranted for life with our limited lifetime warranty. We'll look into this for you and someone will be in touch.
The “Twin shred machines”
posted by jshannon3
thanks ESP
Wow very cool!!
I love my E2 M2 Urban Camo guitars, their freakin shred machines. The quality and craftsmanship built into them real stands out too. The tones coming out of the guitars is absolutely sick, paired up with my Marshall JVM410H, it’s a freakin crunchfest. ESP has gone out of their way to make a mean guitar for metal, and I had to have 2 of them. Thanks ESP!
Hey Jim, Thanks for those comments! We're glad to hear how much you like your shred machines!
Green woodland camo like Will Adler's eclipse wood look cool too,Love ESP guitars.

Hi michael, thanks for your suggestion. That would look cool.
A nt version of this would be killer.
Hey Jonathan, thanks for your suggestion.
Maybe a Desert Camo or just Military Colors the Green Satin finish on EC401 is cool maybe on a V or M series.
OK Thanks.
Yeah that's pretty close to the Finnish winter Camo they use for they're troops
Hey Adam, OK. Thanks. It is is cool, but difficult to make on a guitar for sure.
Todd B no I actually haven't seen the Finnish Army Camo on a guitar if ESP did it would be a first
Hey Adam, Thanks. I checked it out and it looks to me like what we would call "digi" camo. Because the pattern looks pixelated like when you zoom into a digital image. Is that the same one?
What fret wire material is on the E-ii line? Stainless or nickel?
Hi Johnny5, Thanks for your question. We use standard Nickel Silver Alloy which is the standard for fretwire. Currently we offer stainless steel frets for ESP Custom Shop and ESP USA guitars.
Thanks for the response
Hey Johnny5, Sure thing!
Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient Set maybe a few different Camo color options Desert ,Winter,Digital,Etc..
Hey Adam, Thanks for your suggestions!
Would it be possible to get this
1. In a desert camouflage color
2. With Seymour Duncan Duality active pickups rather than the EMGs
That would be cool there's a winter Camo that the Finnish Army uses that would be cool as hell.
Hey Adam, that sounds cool too. Have you ever seen that on a guitar?
Hi Cash, We don't offer customizations to our regular product line so they come with the specs you see listed on our site. You can order something like this from our custom shop but then the whole pricing structure would be different because it would be built in our custom shop rather than our standard factory.
Is it still possible to order this model from a USA dealer? I'm in New York. Thank you!
Hi John, Yes you can get this from a dealer. Click on the "FIND A DEALER" button or contact our sales department by phone if you need more help finding a dealer.
