About Me:

Learning how to play, as a Veteran of the Afghan War, Music has been very therapeutic for me. I am a Metallica fan and count seeing them live in Toronto, one of the best nights of my life. I started learning to play through this great program for Canadian Veterans, called Guitars for Vets. Got set up with a Guitar and Lessons.

What I wanted to learn to play changed a lot because of the inspirational performance by Metallica. My kids and I love the music, my boys call Master of Puppets “ the Puppet Master”

With my injuries from serving overseas, I had to retire from work, which is exciting, will give me more time to practice on my LTD EC256 - Purple.

Likely one of the most beautiful guitars I’ve ever seen, I remember trying to choose between the blue LTD or Purple. I think it was a 3/4 to an hour stare down at the two. Finally, Purple Rain was brought home. I love the feel, sound, it’s comfortable and because I have some difficulty with hands, the fret board feels great in my left hand and has increased my confidence.

James Hetfield totally blew me away, while watching him play, I love his new line of ESP Guitars in KUIU Verde, because of that I purchased a PSE Stealth Mach 1 in KUIU Verde, as I am an authorized retailer for PSE. Wish Mr. Hetfield would do a trade? Kidding.

I want to use music, archery and other exciting things that I do, to help Veterans, Victims of Trauma. I’m actively involved in the International Veterans Community, through the Invictus Games Foundation as Official Representative for Canada. The power of sport is great, but the power to create music, brings out the creative side in me.

I will always be an ESP/LTD Guitar Owner. Best feel, no need to even comment on the sound quality, second to none. To me the paint and attention to detail make these guitars artwork. Even when not playing, it is relaxing even seeing it there.
