Music Makes Folks Happy

    As an ol’ grunt, I love music, it has helped me through a lot of difficult times. 

    Whether playing or watching live music, I’ve found that you appreciate the talent these Rock God’s have. 

    I was lucky enough to be introduced to Guitars For Vets in Canada. 

    My goal after retirement, create a centre for my generation of vets. Being involved in the largest NATO Battle, in Afghanistan, taught me a lot. Cherish life, be a role model to my kids, help Veterans in need. Play One with Metallica…wishful thinking, hearing that song live still sends shivers up my spine. 

    I will definitely be practicing and resuming lessons after some medical issues, with the plan on starting a band with some fellow vets. 

    Gotta start practicing! Very honoured that Metallica and Mr. Hetfield have created an organization to help America’s Heroes. We could use something similar in Canada.
