its an LTD MII - should date to around 1996 it later became the model M200 Similar quality to the 1000 series now. Came stock with duncan design pickups HB103 pickups if I remember correctly. the HB103 is duncan......MORE »

It legitimate - usually these have more rounded horns - however I have seen some with the squared off edges like yours. I assume it was perhaps a transitional model year where the shape and headstock combination......MORE »

Its an LTD M2 deluxe - although I think it was only ever listed as an M2 should date to 1995 / 1996 someone has added a tone knob. here is a picture of mine there are few more pictures......MORE »

Has anyone ever seen a fake Ltd? I had thought it did not make sense, if you are going to make fake why not make it say ESP. I have seen fake LTD's, maybe the seller thinks they are more likely to get away with it......MORE »

Sam Ash is pretty honest about their gear, however its always possible they could make a mistake when buying something in. I have seen some fakes that look very close. there is very little reason someone would make a fake......MORE »

+ 1 on the air norton in the neck - very warm and full without being muddy - plenty of definition whit heavy distortion also the 36 ann is also a good choice - my favorite bridge pickup is a duncan sh5 - not as shrill......MORE »
