I think the SD custom shop is for fully new pickups, not just different versions of existing ones.

I'd love custom SD's but wallet will not allow, and I'm pretty happy with my Custom 5/59 combo.

Why not just order some gold screws? I'm positive you can find them if you dig hard enough. Making it a "custom shop order" is not worth the extra dough, which could be as high as $150 which is the average custom shop item piece, such as the EVH(evenly voiced harmonics) pup which retails for about $180.

Call Duncan and speak to either MJ or Dowy in the CS. Both are wonderful people and will make whatever you wish. (Your dealer will have to go through them anyway prolly)
