Seymour Duncan JB/JAZZ set vs. Alnico2 Pro set pickups

    Hello all, Can someone explain the differences or similiarities between the two sets of pickups? They are used in the ESP Xtone Paramount series, PC-1V & PC-2V semi hollow body guitars. I am looking for the best pickup set for blues & rock & some jazz. Thanks.

    JB/Jazz = Alnico V magnets, more output for more rock metal tones to blues.
    AlNiCo II = Alnico II magnets, less output generally, very strat like in sound.

    Its essencialy the magnet power and what type of enamel wire is used for the windings, it all alters tone.

        The alnico II is not that "stratlike", its just more clearer, less compressed.

        The JB is IMO a bit too hot for blues... just my 2c.
