Hello to all of you! I have an esp Mii Custom Deluxe (1998 model) and the neck is in very bad condition due to many refrets that i have done all these years.. My question is: If i buy a new guitar (a 2009 standard Mii) can i replace the necks and put the new one to my old Mii? Help me please because i love my old guitar..

how come that you'd have so many refrets?
I don't know about the neck replacement. look at the neck pocket

Why not have a luthier make you a new fretboard and refret that? That way you can keep the same neck you're used to playing on...hell you can even switch fretboard wood types...

I know an extreemely experienced fella who can re-board that neck, and probably save the inlays too(if you wish...). I know he also does custom inlays.

If you are interested pm me & I'll give him a call & connect the two of you.

get the fretboard replaced and have a fresh refret, don't replace the neck if you'v been together that long! it'l never be the same again :)

Just call up ed roman... He's got a neck for it...

I bet you he can get one from the same factory... same year... same model...

He's helped me out in the past with some really hard to find stuff....
