how to tell the difference in pickups

    Regarding these... -Output voltage (string/ strum) -Output noise -Output impedance -DC resistance what does any of that mean in terms of what you hear? like, what is the difference if the number in one pickup is higher or lower for one certain attribute compared to another? (im looking at the DiMarzio Evo and the EMG 81 here... Thanks for any help :]

    well... simply the sound. it really doesnt sound the same. it's like any guitar... you can't tell if one is better than other if you haven't played it... like I've been playin a Epiphone les paul standard and it kicked the ass of some guitar that worth over 1000$
