It's certainly not a Custom Shop model. They put that circle logo on all of the guitars sold overseas during that time period.

Maybe $2k in fantastic condition to someone who REALLY wants a KH-3. But not with that much play wear.

Just saying, he could have had this actual custom shop version, in better condition, already in France, with strings run the proper way, for $1800.

Wrap the e strings the same way on my KH3 so they aren't coming back to the nut at a weird backwards angle, also potentially rubbing on the screws that hold on the string retainer. Have actually seen a lot of KH3 owners do this exact same thing.
