How does the ESP Signature Series Gus G NT stack up to the competition?

I have no idea why, but I have the strangest and most irrational desire to get my hands on an ESP SS Gus G NT. Unfortunately for me, I have never seen one of the ESP models in person (and believe me, I have looked) so I cannot try one out. I'm not planning to rush out and buy one anytime soon, but I am very curious about the instrument. So please tell me everything about your experiences with this guitar (besides the fact that it neck-dives of course), I really want to know. Thanks!

I played one at a guitar center, and I could not get comfortable with it, so I didn't use it long. But it seemed pretty good

What a wealth of information. Thanks for that comprehensive review.

"it seemed pretty good"

Sounds like a slam dunk. I am sure the op is placing his order as we read.

I just played the LTD version at guitar center. It felt great!

I wonder how much better the ESP version feels.
