Is this an EX-401?

    Hello all,

    I bought this „EX-401“ from Thomann last week and when it arrived today there seemed to be something odd about it. The knobs are slightly in the wrong place and the most obvious thing is the plaque at the 12th fret missing. Instead there is EX-401 written on the headstock. The body in my opinion resembles an EX-360. I am not an expert on this though and it is my first ESP LTD guitar so I am curious to here what you guys think.

    It's a 2018 model. In late 2017, ESP stopped putting the brand/model at the 12th fret and started putting it on the truss rod cover.

        No worries man, It isn't super common knowledge. And there are lots of online shops that are still using old photos to sell the guitars.

        It looks awesome in the white. Congrats!

          Yeah those were the only pictures i saw thats why i was asking. It is a beautiful guitar in any way and plays just as good. Appreciate the effort man.
