LTD EC-401 vs EC-1000

    Hi everyone. New member here that's planning to buy my first ESP/LTD guitar shortly. I've been an Ibanez fanboy for decades but lately I've (finally) open my eyes for other brands and as I was testing some guitars at my local shop I stumbled across the EC-401. I must admit, it really blew me away and I've started saving up for it. My question is; what is the difference between the 401 and the 1000 models that justifies the jump in price? I'm aware of the 401 has Grover tuners while the 1000 has ESP locking tuners (any good, btw?) Also; does the Deluxe models come with case or gig bag included? Any feedback appreciated :)

    I haven't tried the deluxe series in ages but back in the day they used to be of slightly better quality than the 400 series. A bit better attention to details, slightly better hardware (they used to come with Sperzel locking tuners), etc. But back then they where made in Korea, don't know if they still are though.
    Hopefully someone who is up to date will chime in.
