I think both guitars are built in the same factory, I'm pretty sure World Instruments builds the 1k series LTD's as well as the higher end BC Rich's. I really like the Zoltan axe, minus the stupid 'Zoltan' decal (under the clearcoat, doh) and the gun cylinder-like control knobs. The Zoltan's body has the abalone purfling, while the LTD has it up the neck and around the headstock, which looks tacky as hell IMO. It really comes down to personal preference, maple fretboard vs rosewood, EMG's vs the Rockfields (?) that are in the BC. Both are nice guitars... try em both and make your decision based off that.

Personally i like the Black w the Maple Board, and the back of the necks on the Maple boards are unfinished. I dont know why the ebony doesnt have the unfinished neck though
