Quick question about the DV8

    Are the controls attached to the pickguard, or is the pickguard just there for show and the route is in the back? I know I've seen one with a clear pickguard, which makes me think they're just there for show.

    it's for show, the control plate is in the back. that ugly ass pickguard on those V guitars has got to be one of the most terrible ideas ever. if you buy one, take that shit off pronto.

      That's what I was hoping to hear. I have an idea for a paintjob for it, so I wanted to make sure I could get rid of it. Thanks man. It'll probly come down to this or a V 500.
