Hey, I really appreciate this info. The first thing I noticed about this guitar was the strings. It feels like there really heavy strings and plan to go to light gauge strings. I was really impressed with the play ability, sound and feel of this guitar. I normally play my acoustic guitars through a fishman mini but its at my partners house so I plugged it into my Mesa Mark V-35 and it sounds great. As of right now this thing is definitely a keeper. Plays straight without intonation issues and neck feels like my 98 Strat. Sweeeeeet!
So many people put heavy gauge strings on for better tone. Tone is how you play and the material you're stranger made out of. The instrument that you're playing. The amp that you're using. And how you attack the strings. I have put my tl6 up against T5 Taylor's. Starting at $2800.00. Not sure but i save a ton of cash at $380.00 brand New in the box. Bought a fishman amp and took the wife out to dinner. Had cash left over. Lol
So i went out to buy a Taylor T5. Could not find one i felt sounded like a fabulous guitar. And for the price good is not good enough. My wife saw a black guitar hanging on the wall and said try this one. After about three minutes of arguing with her she brought it over and I tried it. I plugged it into a Fishman 112. From that moment on I have played that guitar every single day. I have used it for country I have used them for rock and roll, I have used it for Blues, on stages and little Halls do massive concert Halls and outdoor events such as fairs, festivals. It is without a doubt one of the best playing and sound and guitar in my Arsenal. That guitar is the TL 6 I plan on buying two more. A nylon string 1/4 classical. And a 12 string 4 special songs and special occasions. Thank you LTD sincerely Tyrone
