LTD Josh Middleton JM-II Review by Riffs, Beards & Gear

If you're a person who goes to YouTube for guitar reviews, you almost certainly already know Ryan Bruce, aka Fluff, the host of the popular channel Riffs, Beards & Gear. In a recent episode, Fluff pulls out the new LTD Josh Middleton Signature Series JM-II, and he seemed pretty impressed. "This has been a very, very incredible experience playing this sleek, fast, sports car of a guitar," he says, and we agree. The JM-II is the first signature model from Sylosis/Architects guitar master Josh Middleton, with features including a bolt-on construction alder body with quilted maple top, a three-piece roasted maple neck in an extra-thin u-shaped profile, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on the JM-II include a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups (alnico in the neck and ceramic in the bridge), with push-pull control to select voicings. It also offers LTD locking tuners and a recessed Gotoh TOM bridge with string-thru-body design.
