War, the American funk/rock/pop crossover band that was formed in 1969, is sounding better than ever as they approach their 50th anniversary. In this "Jam in the Van" video filmed live at the KABOO Fest earlier this month in Del Mar, CA, ESP players Stu Ziff (guitar) and Rene Camacho (bass) sound great on their respective ESP Ron Wood Signature Series guitar and E-II AP-4 bass. in the video, War performs their classic 1975 song "Why Can't We be Friends?", a tune with a message that's every bit as needed today as it was when they wrote it.
