Zao's Scott Mellinger on Premier Guitar Rig Rundown

    Our pals at Premier Guitar Magazine just did another of their excellent Rig Rundown web articles, this time focusing on the guys in veteran West Virginia-based metalcore band Zao. The band has been around since 1993, and guitar Scott Mellinger (featured in the first half of the video) is a longterm ESP player. In the video, Scott is showing his E-II Eclipse DB that he's modded with a set of Fishman Fluence pickups. Scott also plays several other ESP models including his original ESP Eclipse-II and an LTD Signature Series Ron Wood model. The band's 11th full-length album The Well-Intentioned Virus came out in 2016, and their EP Pyrrhic Victory came out last year.. Keep up with them at their web site.
