Beautiful and excellent guitar LTD with the new signature pickups. There is no big difference in sound between the ESP KH-2 NTB and the LTD KH-602. They have the same specs except the key tuner (ESP identical to the Gotoh) and a Floyd Rose 1000 series (identical to the original but just made in Korea instead of Germany). I have a black KH-602 that I use to record my Lead & Solos for years and they are always right. The finish is better than that of my Gibson Explorer. I did a thesis on the LTD and in particular, the 1000 Deluxe series. I test majority of LTD models and their alter-ego ESP (sounds, weight, tuning quality, finishes). They are not a sub-range like Gibson / Epiphone or Fender / Squier ... and nothing to see either. The 1000 Deluxe series are professional guitars, built with the same care as the ESP, with grade AA woods with branded hardware (pickups, key tuners, Floyd Rose, etc. ..) Better to buy a LTD EC-1000 Deluxe than a Gibson Les Paul at $2,000. My favorite is the M-1000 Deluxe. Neck-Thru-Body, body in Alder with a top in Maple, the neck in Maple, 24 X-Jumbo Frets with fingerboard in Ebony, hardware brands: pickup EMG 81, Floyd Rose Original (the first) and then, series 1000 (same as the original), Grover key tuner. In addition, it retains a good resale value. It has excellent sound, superior to the KH-602. A clean comparable to guitars very expensive, perfect for the distortion with a long sustain that Rock & Metal guitarists love. Stay tuned even after hours of Tremolo abuse and big bending. A lot of known band guitarists using this models. I use my LTD KH-602 with a '65 Fender Twin Reverb for my Clean channel, a Peavey 6505 212 USA for my OD and Disto, a Dunlop Crybaby Original Wah and one of the best effects module, the TC Electronic Nova System . The little brother of TC G-System at $2000. All Nova effects come from the G-System and the effects are analog. No modeling or simulation. These are pure effects, containing the 6 main families (mod, delay, reverb, pitch, etc ...) and equipped with an Overdrive and a distortion 100% analog separated from other effects. My high-end gear type makes it possible to get 100% real guitar sounds.

It would be badass to own and Kirk guitar

Dan the George Lynch Fan

Although I wish there was a sweepstakes to win a George Lynch guitar, I also think Kirk is a great player too.

I have a strikingly beautiful LTD green sparkle guitar that would match up perfectly with this beauty.
