ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! This is the second time we've featured a submission by All Access community member Ian Shuirr, who creates music as InVase. We always enjoy hearing a player who pushes beyond the expectations, and on this song, Ian does that and a lot more, using his LTD MH-250NT the predecessor to the current MH-401NT) as well as an LTD D-6 bass. Like many players, Ian has modded his guitar to his liking, but what really makes him stand out from the crowd is his interesting dissonant progressions and lead lines, and great rhythmic motifs. Considering the fact that Ian is perhaps best known as the former drummer for Knoxville, TN-based metalcore band Straight Line Stitch and other bands, maybe it's no surprise that his rhythm chops are so superb.
