This April, Dimmu Borgir, the kings of Norwegian symphonic black metal, are going to be releasing a live DVD called Forces of the Northern Night. It's going to include legendary live shows that they recorded in Oslo with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, as well as the entire performance at Wacken Open Air with the Czech National Symphonic Orchestra. It's been almost seven years since the band's last studio album, and rumor has it that a long-awaited new album is in the works for release later in 2017.
