Do you guys still make the jh-600 ?
Hi, Yes we do. You are on the page for the JH-600. If you need any help please contact our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com
from 2005 i have this model (unfortunately with Floyd Rose Made in Korea) and after that i got the real ESP JH - Urban Camo (With Kahler of course!)
Actually the differences are really huge. This LTD is really entry level / mid range guitar, and the Japan ESP is really high end.
This LTD JH-600 is not bad.. but, when i touch the ESP, never back in LTD class..
cheers
Does the JH-600 come with a case or do i have to by one separately.
if you have any questions you may reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com or https://www.espguitars.com/pages/support
Have had this guitar for a year now and it has served me well! Jeff Hanneman is a huge inspiration to me, does ESP have any plans to make either versions of the "Heineken" logo version?
That would be up to Heineken as we do not own their IP
Can this Hanneman model be made with a reverse headstock? Is it considered a custom shop type order to get this model with a reverse headstock?
LTD instruments are not open to custom orders, only ESP models are produced within the custom shop. To receive a quote for a custom build you may fill out our custom order form and submit this to your local/preferred ESP dealer.
Good day esp! I wish there would be a Jh-600 here in the philippines. Lyric store says they discontinued the sale thank you!
Hey Toots, Lyric is the distributor for your region so they would have to import this into your country if you wanted to purchase one. This is still a current model so all they would need to do is order one for you.
Please make this guitar(JH-600) available to zzounds.com I want this desperately and they say they can’t get it even though they are a esp dealer
Hey Ed, they would need to place an order for one, we do not ship instruments to dealers that they have not ordered.
It is the same as an mh shape ?
Hi john, the outside shape is the same (M & MH), but this Jeff Hanneman model has a flat top body, so it is different than our MH which has an arch top.
OK, but in term of thickness ? Am i right if i say the hanneman is an M serie in term of thickness, shape and weight ?
Hi john, yes same thickness , shape and weight as an M series.
I have this guitar, love it . Q: Can u tell me what material the inlays are made of? Thanks
Hi Danny, the inlay material is referred to as pearloid and is made from acrylic plastic. It is the standard material used for inlays and pickguards.
thanks Todd your feedback is appreciated.
Hey Todd thank for the info and the reply.
Just a query can I still purchase the Hanneman urban camo, is it still made ?
I cant see any dealers or anyone has stock available ?
Cheers.
Hi Adam, We still offer the ESP Jeff Hanneman urban camo. If it's not in stock it can be made. Many dealers do not stock the high ticket items. If you're talking about the LTD JH-600 tribute model, then no. That model was only made that one year we offered it as a tribute guitar.
Hi there any chance of some new Hanneman tribute models maybe with his Heineken logo or the Hanneman logo pic attatched ?
Collectors would go nuts for these I suspect.
?
Agreed. ...love the RED STARS on this model.
Hi Tyler, thanks, yes those are really cool looking.
Hey Adam, thanks for those suggestions. At this time there is no plan but I see how that could be a cool collector's guitar.
Do you guys plan on making any new Jeff Hanneman models in the future??
Hi Cleansed, We won't rule out doing something in the future but currently there are no plans for any new JH models.
How would this Bridge compare to a FR?
Hi David, you really would have to experience this bridge and compare it to a FR to know truly what the difference is. It mostly comes down to feel. Both bridges do the same thing - they allow you to pull up or down in pitch. The difference is that the Kahler system feels "softer" or "slinkier" than a FR bridge (if that makes any sense). Some people like the stiffer feel of a FR bridge system. However, you can customize a FR and put softer (lower tension) springs, or remove one of the 3 springs to give the system a softer feel. The amount of pitch you can raise the strings is another big difference. The design of the Kahler uses a cam to rotate the strings on a fixed height roller saddle, so you can basically stretch the strings and pitch much higher which is sort of what it's known for. A Floyd on the other hand, maxes out because the strings will eventually touch the pickups or frets due to the way the bridge pivots on the studs. Both systems are great. It's more a matter of personal preference.
If you are taking suggestions, I think a vintage black ec-1000 with a Floyd in left handed would do well also !
Hi Trevor, Thanks for your suggestions.
You can consider this my pre-order for either or both.
