hey guys I was wondering why when I purchased my very first ESP LTD Alexi 600 Greeny the manager there in guitar center said that it doesn’t come with a hard case then when I showed him ESP website and pointed on how here it says it comes with a case and it’s the same price if not guitar center charged me more!! But he was kind enough to say that he will manage it out and I don’t have to pay for a case that’s already existing with the guitar. I also NEED the guitar’s Certificate and everything that comes within the hard case, it’s for my upcoming birthday so please help!!

Hey Ahmed, 600 series artist instruments do no come with a COA, only certain limited edition models and ESP signature series instruments will come with this.  Prior to 2019 these were not including a case.  My assumption is that they purchased this instrument prior to when they included a case.  If you need further assistance feel free to reach out to our customer service team at customerservice@espguitars.com

Any chance of the Alexi 600 scythe come back soon ? or was it a limited edition, I'm looking to buy an alexi-600 but actually prefer the white color of the other one

Hey Quentin, nothing planned at the moment but thanks for the insight!

Quick question: what kind of finish is used on the back of the neck? I bought one of these a few months ago and love the neck finish so much. Would love to see a "Hexed" edition Alexi guitar in the future (or bring back the pink!)

Todd B. ESP

Hi Nathan, Glad you like this finish. We tape off the back of the neck and keep it natural and put a satin finish over the wood. You can get a very similar feel from any painted "glossy" guitar neck by sanding the finish down smooth with some #400 & #600 sandpaper carefully. Its much smoother and slicker feeling than a traditional gloss paint. Thanks for your suggestions. The pink Alexi SE was really cool. Too bad we made them as a limited production run so we won't be reissuing them again.

Hi Charles C. it should sound closer to ESP model ,Iwant gain boost option,I may just purchase Alexi pickup set might be easier install.ESP custom shop has a few more high end components the ones Alexi uses.

Todd B. ESP

Hi michael, that sounds about right, and yes, installing the Alexi pickup set from EMG would be a cool idea and not too hard to have done. The components that differ between ESP and LTD are tuning machines and bridge (Gotoh tuning machines & Original German FR bridge for ESP). But those should not make sound different between the 2 models. And the components on the Alexi-600 are very high quality but more affordable.
