Almost 2 years in with this guitar and couldn't be happier, I'm not a lead player but this guitar has made me work on it, don't let the floyd rose scare you, it takes a while to get used to it but it's not the end of the world when changing strings or anything like that. 

The neck is slim which allows you to move faster and effortless reach every string no matter where in the neck you're playing. 10/10 recommend if you are into signatures!

I tell everybody that the spider is airbrushed but they tell me I'm dreaming.. 

Is this guitar going to stay in production?

It’s just amazing that this guitar has scalloped fretboards just like the ESP one.
The green letters on the pick up covers matches the color on the spider, my kh picks and my KH95. 
I just feel so green when I’m playing this.

Hello..

Can I replace the 3 way PU selector switch with a Gotoh one or what does ESP recommend? Sometimes it doesn’t work.
Mine is still under warranty and I just don’t want to post it back to the shop.. 

Had to wait a while but it was worth the wait the Guitar is amazing worth every penny

Hello, chief! 

i just gotta ask, are the frets on this dream LTD guitar stainless steel or the same as my ESP NT KH2? 

some say otherwise.. 

every time Ive looked around for Kirk hammetts signature guitars many different guitar stores told me that they wouldn't have the guitar I wanted for many many months, I really wanted the Kirk Hammett white zombie guitar but everyone that was selling theirs had been selling it for nearly two times what it would have costed brand new with the case but recently I got my hands on a brand new Ltd kh3 spider guitar, I love the sound of the guitar, the EMG bone breakers scream and the way it looks is very nice as well but after only a few days of playing I noticed that the side edge of the fretboard had some cracks and even what looks like a chip and I cant help but notice it everytime I look down which is pretty disappointing to say the least and I'm not really one to care about stuff like that and it even after this issue is still my favorite guitar but since I traded in half my guitar collection and a pedal just to put a downpayment on it I just wish it would have been perfect.

I walked into Guitar Center this evening. To my surprise I walked out with a new kh3 ltd. Didn't see it coming but man what a great impulsive buy. I had an original kh3 with bolt on neck back in the day but then sold it. Always regretted it until today! Now its back and man am I blown away buy the quality on this thing! Solid, stays in tune, and thats fresh out of the box. They said they put it out 3 days ago on a high up hanger so I was the first customer to touch it. Not a scratch on it. I love it and the case kicks ass as well. Can't say enough good things about this guitar. Go buy one before you can't anymore!!!

Just received my LTD KH-3 from DrumCityGuitarLand and couldn’t be happier. The guitar is heavy in weight and plays amazing. I used to own the original bolt-on ESP KH-3 as well as a Custom Shop translucent blue KH-3 with no spider graphic and dot inlays. The LTD in my opinion plays better! I can’t believe how well built it is and how perfect the inlays are. No filler! The inlays are that good!  Currently I’m enjoying this guitar more than my trans black E-II M-II (great player as well).

Is this beauty sitll on sales????

FOR THE LEFTIES
I just got mine, I love it, but keep in mind they didn't bother putting lefty knobs on it, so the neck volume knob keeps getting turned down.

Amazing guitar!!! Plays great, sounds great, looks great!! Best Ltd I've owned. Love how solid it feels compared to the Ltd Kh602(which is also fantastic). Fretboard was perfect with the awesome spider inlays, first time playing scalloped frets and makes bending on the higher frets easier. Perfect tones, from amazing crunch to perfect cleans. The Bonebreakers are just as badass as the Het Set. The spider graphic looks fantastic! Floyd stays in tune great and was nice to see Grover Tuners on an Ltd. Extremely well made guitar!! Love it

I got mine yesterday!! I’m loving it.. 

Ok I got mine a few months ago and overall I love it but... I do have some quality control concerns. At first I was so happy to have it and it still looks and sounds amazing as it did on day one however I have become a little more  frustrated and aggravated about my fret board "imperfections." I am worried that these small imperfections might be easy to over look now until they grow and possibly become big issues in the future. Plus I paid a lot of money and then had to wait while for a guitar that I expected to be flawless or at least not have quality defects that might turn into serious issues in the future. Maybe I am tripping over something that's superficial but I didn't expect to find an easy to see defect on what is supposed to be my dream guitar.  

Just got mine a few days ago. Overall it's a great instrument but there are some annoying aspects that should be mentioned. The quality of the hard case (made in china) and the fretboard scallop is pretty lame (see pics). The fretwork is almost perfect, but there is a serious fret buzz in the 1st fret, it would need a fret leveling. (the shop did a nice setup before the sale). Although the instrument is 4,3 kg the guitar still head heavy which is weird. Otherwise it's a cool axe, it has a special vibe and sounds awesome. This is my 2nd LTD in a row, first was KH Nosferatu a few weeks back that I bought also brand new and it has some quality issues and more serious fretbuzz problems in the first 3 frets. I can't use that guitar at all. Comparing to my ESPs (KH-2 SE&KH-2 Custom Shop), these guitars definitely lower level which could be different with a little bit of higher QC.
