got mine 2 days ago. simply great. look, quality and sound - just perfect. It's a metal guitar! I think for the price you get a very good package over all. Thanks ESP :-)

Good day! Is this model available for order ??

Carl N.

Yes, it is!

Stoyan T.

Hello Carl,

Registered just to leave the following feedback. I was looking forward to ordering this one, but currently I am still reconsidering mainly for the following reasons:

1. Price - at 1100 Euro retail there is a lot of guitars that this is competing against and the presentation is really not on par with them. Every 1000+ euro guitar should come minimum with a gigbag/softcase, and this does not. The M-Model stands at 750. There was rumors that this was going to be around 890Euro, but 1100 is crossing the edge in my opinion giving the other options from other brands.

This is my main reason. Now some additional feedback.

2. For metal/shredder? guitar and the thin profile I would preferred it to have it at 16" radius and not the current 14.

3. Back cavity and Volume control. The back Cavity is way too big for the single control. And the volume knob is way too closer to the string so it will get in the way of playing, and and hinder, and players have the risk of bumping it during fast songs. Move it closer to the input jack, away from the hand, and also make the cavity smaller/increase wood surface.

4. Again tied to the price, maybe could have been made with stainless steel frets instead for additional presentation to justify the price.

5. LTD logo, could be moved closer the the low E tuning peg, so it is more visible and not obscured by the string.

Anyway good luck, hope the series succeed so we see future variants on this. And hope to win some lottery so I don't care when I order this

Best

Thanks for sharing Stoyan!

Why does the hard tail cost more than the version with the tremolo? Also can these 2 guitars be down tuned to a drop B with no problem or may be minor set up? Thank you

Stoyan T.

It could be tuned to drop B, but it definitively will need a setup - If nothing else for the intonation and truss-rod tension.

Jeremy W.

Not sure about the cost difference and why but yes mine holds drop B just fine. The locking tuners are awesome! I have the hipshot bridge which I love. I’m too old to be messing around with floating bridges, been there done that.

Richard K.

I know it wouldn't really fit the Black Metal series, but I'd love to see an M series guitar exactly like this but with dual humbuckers and a tone knob.

Carl N.

Thanks for the insight Richard!

John A.

I just ordered this and cant wait for it to arrive

Carl N.

Hope you enjoy it John!

How long does shipping take?

Carl N.

Hey John, about 5-7 business days typically.

vince p.

I agree , I want the new version with the push pull volume knob , not the Floyd.

Carl N.

Thanks for the input Vince!

The old style ( Floyd ) is available in lefty and I’ve seen several in stock ready to ship.
