Really impressed with this. Looking forward to other models for sure. A B5 would be insane and a future purchase if it was ever to come. Keep on bringing us bassists some love dudes!

Hey Matt, Thanks for that!

Thank you for your reply.
Really great concept - power in simplicity.
I hope that either your company will release a sound preview or maybe a Youtube reviewer will get hands on this beast.
Would really love to hear it. I expect a tone similar to Stingray, but with its own flavor on top.

On top of my list for sure!

Hey Karolis, Got it. Hope we can accommodate your request!

Hey,
Looks really good and I hope that one of these will be with me until end of this year, hehe.

I have question about electronics - It says that electronics are active, but as it only has a volume knob I understand that it is preconfigured in the cavity. Some more info would be great - is it your own brand preamp or EMG (as pickups are EMG). Is EQ flat on that preamp or it is setup EQ-wise for a specific tone?

Much appreciated!

Hi Karolis, The EMG pickup has an internal preamp so it is an active pickup and requires a battery to operate. There is no external EQ or preamp, just a single volume control and of course a 9V battery. Of course you could add an EQ if wanted, but the whole idea behind the Black Metal Series is solid, stripped down guitars and basses that don't have a lot of extra controls to get in the way.

Okay, great start. I am personally looking forward to the 5 string version of this. would love to see a 6 string version of this in the F series. please make it happen!! build it and they will come!!!
