I received my E-II ECLIPSE FULL THICKNESS a week ago, and cant put it down.

the quality of this guitar is amazing mine came in at 9.5 lbs, nice thin neck. I was alittle worried about that. I just love it.

Got a smoking deal at GC as allways. If your on the fence about this model, don't be buy it and enjoy it.. Les Paul killer...….)

Carl N.

glad you are enjoying it

This is a terrific guitar. I just ordered one. Would love to see some other pick up options, like the Seymour Duncan Saturday night special. This would make it a solid alternative to a les Paul.

Carl N.

thanks for the suggestion

Alex E.

I received this guitar and unfortunately returned it. I absolutely love the guitar itself, unbelievable quality and absolutely beautiful. The fretwork was perfect, the body was thick and heavy with plenty of sustain, the tuners and hardware were top notch. Everything just screamed high-quality. A perfect guitar, unfortunately the active pickups we’re a dealbreaker. Without a doubt, they are vastly better than other EMG models, but could not come close to the PAF tones you get on a les Paul. If ESP decides to make this model available with passive pickups, I am  re-ordering and this would be a true Les Paul killer. If you prefer active pickups, there is no better guitar out there than this one.

they look AMAZING!

Any plans to offer the E-II Full Thickness with Fishmans in the future?

Carl N.

Nothing at the moment

Charles C.

How come only the black natural burst is available from retailers?  When will the other colors be released?

Carl N.

They are released, perhaps your ESP dealer could special order one for you.

Charles C.

There isn’t a single e-II full thickness in anything but the black natural burst on eBay, reverb or anywhere else I can find on the internet.

Carl N.

True, as this is the only model currently produced in that line with a full thickness body.

I just received my E2 natural black burst eclipse on Wednesday. I have not been able. To play the guitar at all. I cannot keep it in tune. The G and the Low E string will not stay in tune. Those two strings if I Barely put pressure on them they sound as if they are out of tune. They are a lot more sensitive than the other strings. The other strings stay in tune just fine. but Those two strings will not stay in tune at all. I put new strings on it even though it's a brand new guitar. I put Lube on the nut and the saddles. I don't know what to do with it.

Carl N.

Hey Jason, sounds like the strings need to be stretched.  It's always a good idea to stretch your strings whenever changing them.

Same problem with my ESP USA Eclipse...
