It says the eclipses all share the thin U shape neck but ive seen some things online saying the full thickness models have a thicker neck despite sharing the same name. Trying to figure this out before I make a decision. Just want to make sure the full thickness models don't have like a 50s style LP neck. I'm coming from a PRS SE that has a pattern thin neck and sometimes wish it was a bit thicker but still retaining modern playability which I'm hoping is the case with these full thickness necks.
I own this guitar. It is absolutely amazing. The sound. The feeling. The weight. Just amazing.
I'm going to get one .. the dealer told me it's at least a 12 month waiting list for the standard e2 m2.. what if they launch a new one with stainless steel frets before I get mine?
I've owned an ESP standard eclipse back in 2010. I don't own it anymore, however; I now own the esp e-ii full thickness black natural burst eclipse.
The e-ii feels a lot better than my old 2010 standard eclipse.
Excellent locking tuners, emg set, frets, full thickness non-butchered body with maple cap, finish, guitar case, bone nut, ebony fretboard, and gotoh hardware. just the guitar i wanted.
please continue making the e-ii eclipse this way and keep up the excellent attention to detail.
looking to purchase this guitar but I don’t live anywhere to try it. So what is the guitar coated in? Poly, nitro etc
Also as a customer suggestion this would be great in the Silver burst finish. They are a nightmare to get hold of second hand.
