Hello! In european stores this model is not explicitly listed with stainless steel frets. Have older batches been produced with regular frets?

Very nice, is this finish available with a Floyd Rose?

Ordered this guitar to complement my other one (same specs but dark grey striped top).  I had store credit and reward points with Guitar Center so ordered it through them even though it is currently out of stock.  Any idea what “an extended time frame” translates to in terms of months?

Why can’t this guitar be made with a standard bridge?!

Does this have a glossy neck or satin?

I looked at this model and online retailers and they listed with nickel threats and no coiled taps.  If I ordered it online through through you can I be assured that the guitar you send me will have coil taps  In stainless steel frets?  I am guessing this might be a change for the new model year guitar, And that is a big sticking point with me. Thanks

Hello, I bought this model in a mail order store in Poland, unfortunately such a defect!

Sigbjørn N.

Great guitar! I want a second one, but dark green sunburst and satin neck. Perhaps Fishman pickups or pegasus +sentient? And of course, with evertune... (Locking tuners should be there - so convenient, and would not cost too much more).

James G.

This is the same guitar that Diamond Rowe uses. For those in the know...

john n.

now this with a floyd piezo bridge would have me sold ...

 Nice  finish   very  hot guitar

Glad you like it!

I noticed the frets are listed as extra jumbo. If I ordered directly from ESP, could I have you replace with smaller frets? Do I have to go through the custom shop? What type of cost increase would this incur?

MattSA

Carl N.

LTD instruments are not open for custom orders, only ESP custom instruments can have such specification changes.  If this is the model you like it would probably be more cost effective to have a local technician replace the frets to the size you want.

Niall C.

Is this model still available?  I'm struggling to locate in UK stores.  The ones I do find refer to 2018 models.

Carl N.

Your local ESP distributor can assist you with model availability within your region.

Got this guitar a few weeks ago and i totaly love it! I just have one question:  on a ordernarie les Paul Model the toggle switch pointing down , controlling the bridge pickup,  and toggle switch UP controlling neckpickup. On this/my guitar its the opposite. Supposed to be like this ? Cant find any info about this :/

Carl N.

Hey Alex, sounds like someone turned your switch around, you can just loosen the nut along the washer and turn it around the right way.

CRAIG S.

I just purchased this guitar.  I am having two issues with it, which I am hoping you can help me clear up.

1. The volume knob closest to the neck is controlling the volume of the pickup located closest to the bridge.  The other volume knob (in the middle of the three knobs) is controlling the volume of the pickup located closest to the neck.

 - It would seem to me that the knob closest to the neck should control the volume of the pickup closest to the neck (not the bridge pickup)

2. The tone knob (the third knob which is farthest from the neck) does not activate as a push/pull as per the specifications on this page.  None of the knobs actually push/pull, they only twist.

The serial number of my guitar is IW18050975.

Is my guitar operating as designed?  This doesn't seem right to me.

Aside from that, I love the Evertune bridge!

I look forward to your response.

Thank you

Carl N.

Hey Craig, you'll want to reach out to our service department at customerservice@espguitars.com if you need assistance but I can provide some basic info here.  The control layout can be seen via our owner's manual which will be as you described, bridge/neck/tone.

CRAIG S.

Hi Carl,

Thanks very much for your reply.  What about question #2 and the push/pull tone knob?  I was under the impression I would be able to pop up the tone knob to split coils.  I don't see this functionality listed in the owner's manual, but I see the Tone knob listed as a push/pull in the guitar's specifications on this page.

Thank you

Carl N.

Hey Craig, the current specification is a push/pull but it is possible yours was produced before this specification was made standard, which is why I pointed you in the direction of our service department if you needed further assistance.

CRAIG S.

Hi Carl,

OK, that's disappointing, I wish there was a way to know this before ordering.  It was a special order for this guitar, but it looks like I ended up getting an older model.

I have sent an email to customer service to clear this up.

Thanks for your responses.

Carl N.

Might be something to take up with your dealer, doesn't seem like much of a special order to send you a two year old instrument.  IW18 would mean produced in 2018, prior to when push/pulls were standard equipment.

Just picked up one of these and honestly its the most perfect guitar ever. I have some older EC-1000's and a 2012 Eclipse II and this just feels like the next evolution of the Eclipse. The body feels slightly thicker and that totally translates tonally. The neck feels exactly the same as my Japanese made ESP (where-as my older EC-1000 the neck feels a hint thicker). Its these little details that all add up. Thank you, they do not go un-noticed! I'll be honest, I actually barely pick up my ESP now, this one is just better. I'm way too sold on the Evertune, I can't go back now.

Only other thing I want now is another one of these in white! If you make a white one with gold hardware I will literally throw my money at you. Oh and a 7-string version that isn't black, like literally any other colour would be a dream.

Carl N.

Thanks for sharing Bacon!

This is the first LTD guitar I’ve acquired and I’m very impressed. I play professionally in a number of club bands and have been searching for the instrument to stay in tune through a gig. This EC has exceeded my expectations by a long shot, and has tone and sustain to rival most of my other far more expensive guitars. The finish and attention to detail is excellent as well. I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the instrument, as I’ve found it suits even jazz beautifully. In due course, I’ll release live and studio footage of it through a number of amps and boards the sound and feel is simply scintillating and inspiring, no wonder so many great artists are switching to LTD and ESP,

Yours in music,

Shane R.

Are there any plans to bring the Evertune back to left handed EC1000 models?

Carl N.

Hey Shane, nothing at the moment but thanks for reminding us!

Carm Grasso

Kudos to ESP for being both progressive and committed to its customers via the availability of Evertune equipped models.  I do a ton of recording and can see this would be a most welcome addition to my studio.  It would be most awesome if future models offered up more colors  :-).

Carl N.

Hey Carm, thanks for your comment and insight!
