What Gauge strings are used in MT-130?

Carl N.

should be standard 9-42

Hello. I'm from India and I've seen this being sold on Amazon and whatnot. I was wondering if this guitar is superior in sound and quality to the EC-10 and the Viper 10? Is this similar to the M-10?

Would really help me out in making my purchase decision, thank you.

Carl N.

The pickups will be similar in those models but the single coil pickups will offer different tonal capabilities

Hi, I saw this guitar in Peru. I would like to know what series this guitar (MT-130) is similar to, and if it is superior to the EC-10. I will wait anxiously for your answer, thank you very much.

Hi Walker A, Thanks for your question. This is a special model we only make for certain International markets but it is growing in popularity. It has a lot of features and great price point. If you compare to EC-10, other than the shape, it has more features like 3 pickups, 5-way switch, arrowhead inlays, tremolo bridge, and multiple colors. So it probably has more value than EC-10. If you like the shape of our M series then we recommend you check it out for sure!

I saw one of these MT-130 guitar in a local store. Does this China-only model have the same quality with common LTD models / are produced in the same factories that produce other models? There are very limited information about them even in China.

Hi Simon,

Where did you see one of these guitars for sale (what country)? Yes these are made exclusively for the China market currently but they may be expanded to be sold in other countries as well. The quality is probably better than you expect for an entry level guitar. The quality of this guitar is similar to our 50 or 100 series which we don't offer now. We currently produce this in China and the factory only produces these specifics models but that could change.
