Hey Guys i want to order a guitar from ESP LTD but I can't choose between the two guitars, Ltd Snakebyte and ex 401 please someone guide me with the reason thanks!

will this ever be available with floyd rose as the old 401dx? that was an awsome axe

Anyone experiencing a quite significant unbalance toward the neck? I love this guitar in general…sound shape etc, but I found it quite difficult to keep balanced and while playing it requires effort to keep it up, hand and arm somehow hurt after a while.

the neck itself is quite thick rather than thin…is it typical of the LTDs? 

Bought it two weeks ago as i like the Explorer shape and love this one.

Great guitar, great sound, good assembling and gorgeous look. But two big issues.

Balance. really unbalanced towards the neck so uncomfortable while playing at it always tends to slip down especially while moving through the fretboard I need to pull it up. shoulder, arm and fingers feel the fatigue of having to keep it up. Partially solved using a strap with good grip.

Neck: definitely a thick-U rather than a thin-U. It is the biggest of any of the 8 guitars I own (Dean ML, Grass roots Explorer, Jackson, Epiphone flying V etc) and it makes it uncomfortable to play the guitar in mid-low position. Maybe a thinner (and lighter) neck would have helped getting a better balance as well.

is this model still manufactured in black? and will I be able to purchase through here or other dealers?

Someone who knows about some fitting locking Tuners for this beast?

Ive had this guitar for about a week now and I gotta say it's absolutely worth every penny, it is amazing! I used to own an ex260 so don't get me wrong on this, ltd's cheaper lineup is really nice but if you invest a bit more and get yourself one like this you will be so grateful you did, this is the most money I've spent on a guitar yet and I have no regrets whatsoever. It's hard to find the words for how truly awesome this guitar is, I'd definitely recommend getting one to see for yourself if your thinking about it. You will not regret it either. Thank you for such an awesome guitar!

What is the nut width of this in inches? Is it basically the EC neck?

if you could put more specific sizes (whether in inches or more specific mm with the decimal) it would be great.

I personally own an older EX-400 I got used back in 2016. If this guitar is anything like the one I own, then it's worth every penny.

Hey there just a suggestion. I bought this guitar cause it was a beast for me really nice playing both standing and sitting. I replaced it with an emg 85 on the bridge. But I would love to see a Floyd version of this. I would definitely buy that. 

Is this EX-401 White still being sold? I saw some comments saying it was discontinued and when I go to order it says preorder.
