Does the 2023 version have stainless steel frets?  Bought the granite sparkle last year and it has nickel which it totally fine but was looking for a little something different.  Thanks for making killer instruments!

This model seems readily available at several online dealers. Where did you order it from that took 10 months to get?

i just ordered mine... i'm quite annoyed by the thought that at some very early point i'll be forced to change the pickups, though... why ESP keeps putting EMG 81/60s on 2500 € guitars like it's 2005?

James D.

Ordered this guitar in November of 2022,got it in October 2023,unfortunately its getting returned, the frett buzz is just terrible, it will not take a low action set up, for a guitar that's over 2 grand and took 10 months to get I'm very disappointed,  I've done hundreds of setups and this guitar just won't play to my standards,  I think the neck is set wrong from the factory,

Paige T.

Hi James, any chance you can elaborate for me? Live in Maui, Hawaii so really taking my time narrowing down which EC Im going to try ordering for first ESP purchase--not sold here.. Were you completely unable to lower the action without getting a constant buzz? Hate to be stuck with permanent high action. This one comes with same EMG set that the new custom Death Angel TED EC does for $1700 new, was eyeing that one for the simplicity of it and recessed bridge. So many nice EC 1000s with various pick ups to choose from so getting confused.

I want to buy a second one, but seems like Sweetwater etc are all no longer carrying it. Is this model discontinued or about to be?

@ Todd B. ESP I saw a couple of comments in regard to the ebony fretboard on this thread. Curious as to why ESP hasn't switched to a modern composite such as Richlite? I doubt there would be much push-back from customers at all considering ESP are modern style guitars and there wouldn't be any worry about getting a pitch black fretboard.

Hi. Do you gonna make a full thickness version of this metal machine?

Howdy!

Why a maple neck on this particular model? Not that I'm complaining, I'd like to see a maple neck on more of the Eclipse models.

Also Seymour Duncan JB / 59.

Why have all your E-II guitars increased in price?  What features have you added?

Kos M.

Hey. I need this guitar but with EMG 57/66 humbuckers and black hardware. Can you replace this for me or do I have to do it myself after purchase?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Sorry we are not able to take special orders. All models are built to the specifications you see on our product page. If you wanted different pickups or parts then yes you would have to do that on your own after purchase.

If you have any questions not answered on our product page, please contact ESP Customer Service at customerservice@espguitars.com

But they have it as a 7 string... I'm just curious why they skipped out on the 6 string version. :(

Where is the 24 fret version of this guitar? This guitar is my dream guitar but its missing 2 frets. I'm ready to blow the money. Please help me.

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Sorry but this E-II model is not available in 24F version.

I May be wrong but I think brushed black. It's similar to the others and they'll sneak in a title like that every now and then, but I may be completely wrong

Hello, first of all congrats with the fine guitars you are producing. They have given me much playing joy up until today. I have had my eye on this beauty for a while now but as I am kind of picky when it comes to neck profiles I would like to ask the following.... I own both an ESP LTD Iron Cross and a EC-401VF with Seymour Duncans JB/'59's... For both guitars the specs concerning the neck states "Thin U" although the neck of the Iron Cross is quite a bit thicker and fuller than of the EC-401VF which is a little too slim for my personal taste... Since for this guitar the neck specs also state "Thin U" I would like to know for sure - before spending 2000 dollars - if this is more an LTD Iron Cross kind of neck or an EC-401VF? I hope someone can clear this out. Thanks for any reply!

Hello from germany! I have two of those beautiful guitars and probably getting a third one soon! One of them i changed the hardware  completely to black  hardware - and EMG 57/66 in black- looks amazing !!! The only thing i dislike is that the neck on both guitars is called thin u, but  it is a lot different from my other ESP Eclipse E-ll Natural Black burst ( which is a lot thicker) and from my other 4 LTD EC-1000 Models- where the thin u neck is a little thinner and narrower. I wish all necks that are declared as ‚thin u‘ would be  the same. Anyway, i love ESP Guitars! ❤️
