I love the white Snakebyte but i really wish the Gloss Black one would come back

Hi, thanks for your comments.

JP Hönninger

Damn, I got one but I prefer the satin finish, wanna trade? Lol

How come in some videos and pictures the guitar seems 'glossy'? I really like the black mat finish, but if after some months it becomes glossy, i would prefer the white finish. Thank you

Todd B. ESP

Hi, not sure why that is but could be lighting or glare on the instrument. Please also note that we have made the LTD Snakebyte in Black Gloss previously so if it is an older video or photo it could be one of those. You're right that it is normal for a satin or matte finish to eventually turn slightly glossy depending on how much use it gets. You are actually polishing the finish slowly with your hands, wherever you touch the guitar the most, so usually the back of the neck and the arm rest area can turn slightly shiny on a satin finish.

Olivier V.

Thank you for answering! The previous shiny models could indeed easely explain this.

The proces of 'shining by use', is this reverseble? Can you (let a guitarbuilder) get the matty satin back on?
