Any software that allows you to document your creative passions and doesnt hinder you, everyone has their own opinion.  Try to dabble with as many as you can to see what you like.

    Used PT for a long time and I've been using Reaper for the past year.     I have Logic Pro X but haven't sat down with it yet.
