            Personally, i have an LTD M-100FM, and i think, its a really nice workhorse!
            Maybe changing the pickups or at least find a better way to use the second knob, since i barely ever use the tone controls on my guitars...
            Besides: On that guitar, it might be nice to use a push-pull poti to split the humbuckers.. .that'd make it even more versatile...

                      Hmm, I think, that even workhorse must be apropriate to some minimal criteria (wood, pickups). Suggested here are not so for me. Well, going for shape I would choose ec-50 but I'm voting something else.
