i have different strings on pretty much all my guitars. 10-46 (d'addario strings are all i use) on e standard, 11-49 on whole step down, 11-54 on drop c, and 12-60 on drop b, and for my seven string (ltd of course) 13-74 first 6 strings are tuned to b-b and the seventh string is tuned to f. :)

Ernie ball 10-52 skinny top/heavy bottom.. Clear highes and bottom growl.. Also use 12-string slinky for high string/nashville tuning..
The strings tension and size always depend on the guitar.
Right now I'm using 9-42 but will be switching to 11-52 very soon.
