What produces better sound, expensive guitar+cheap amp, or cheap guitar+expensive amp? What amp is the best?

it has less to do with the price of each component, and more to do with their cosynchronority. what you want to do is, once you've selected a guitar, tap on the body of the guitar with your knuckles three times, put the guitar down, and go outside. wait for a bird to appear. when the bird appears, ask him (or her) what the z-factor of your guitar is. the bird will tell you the z-factor, 1-100, by chirping that many times. also note the color of the bird as this is important. then, go to your local music dealer and tell the salesman what the bird's color is and what the z-factor is. the salesman will reference these in his salesbook and come back and tell you exactly which amp is optimal.

Interesting post, thanks. Similar articles I found in this blog. This is some kind of developer company that develops applications.

I believe is always better to invest on a good instrument first.

It will be a pleasure to play, and since it will respond to your playing, it will help you getting better and better.

You will have an instrument with good intonation, tuning stability, nice setup, good fret dressing, etc.

No amp can correct this.

If you'll have to play in a studio, you can plug into any good sounding amp and you'll be able to deliver a good sound.

In the meantime you can use a digital modeler (unless you can crank a 100w Triple Rectifier at home...)
