    Custom shop V with a history...

    Ok. About two weeks ago, I learned of a esp flying v with an RRV body, and a 22 fret bound neck with the skully inlays. After all the digging I could do, I decided to take a chance, and I bought it. It should be here in about a week, but I'm still freaking out about how insanely different it is from any esp I've seen on the open market. Has anyone here seen anything remotely like this? What really got me is, there's never been a KH neck with 22 frets, or the vertical skulls...

    not sure about the 22 fret thing (which is standard for a true RR, i.e. jackson), but the vertical skully inlays was how were originally for kirk. see "zorlac"

      Oh yeah, I'm well aware of the zorlac... Been trying to get my hands on an m-270 for a while. As far as whats available currently though, I haven't seen the vertical skulls on anything outside of a custom order, or a fake.
