ESP 400 Series

Hi guys, I bought this 400 Series, the owner claims to be from 1983 but i only found guitars like this in 1984 catalogs, can somebody tell more about this guitar, where it was made and a year perhaps and how much it cost now? Thank you very much

Just saw your post......apologies for the very late reply.
Here ya go.............

FYI: I Didn't see too much consistency among my 5 ESP's.
Different colored wiring....different pots....different bobbins as well to the best of my recollection.

The 2-tone p/u switch was replaced by me. Still have the original.....scratchy as hell.
Took it apart....lots of contact cleaner. Made no difference.
Otherwise all-original, as is the 3 -tone.

As best as I can gather, some of these were made/assembled on 48th St. in NYC.
I'd been to that shop many times, but that was back when I only had dust in my pockets.
I've often wondered if all those years later I actually wound-up buying the very same guitars I once stared at.
