Whitesnake - Love Ain't No Stranger (Guitar Cover, Bass Cover) (LTD Deluxe M-1000, LTD Elite J-4)

Whitesnake - Love Ain't No Stranger (from the album Slide It In, 1984). In honor of guitarist John Sykes who passed away earlier this year. A classic song and a Whitesnake staple during their touring years. Go watch videos of the band playing this live in the 80s - I can't imagine how pumped up being in the crowd would've been! For the main solo, I added tricks to mimic the hair-metal era, and the outro solo is an excerpt from the '87/'88 tour when Adrian Vandenberg was in the band.

Per usual, this was played LIVE over the studio backing tracks. What you hear is exactly what I heard while playing! No "miming" (which means pretending to play, or recording the audio separately in several takes and then overlay "pretend" video. Unfortunately this is common on many covers you'll see online. I strive to be as authentic as possible.) There is also no audio editing/EQ adjustment/plugins - the tone is 100% from my Line 6 patches.

Guitar cover number 83.
