Formed in San Diego, CA in 2000, As I Lay Dying is a highly-respected metalcore band that's gone through some changes over the years. ESP Signature artist Ken Susi, formerly of the band Unearth, started working with AILD in 2022 as a touring guitarist, eventually joining the band as a full-time member in 2023. "Burden" is the first single with the band's refreshed lineup, and the first new As I Lay Dying material that features Ken. He's shown in the video using his KS M-6 EverTune signature model, an innovative guitar that matches the intensity of Ken's playing style. It features a neck-thru-body design, an EverTune constant tension bridge, and Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups.
