ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! In addition to being part of the ESP All Access community, Dylan Mallia is also part of the extended ESP family in some ways. He's the sales and marketing manager for Guitar Factory Parramatta, a terrific ESP dealer in Sydney, Australia. Like most of us who work in the world of musical instruments, Dylan is an active musician himself, playing guitar in a band called Recovery Room, and bass in Above, Below. It's that band's music that Dylan is showcasing here, doing a playthrough of their song "Eternal Sunshine" using his LTD Deluxe B-1005 Multi-Scale. This bass is among our very best, offering a multi-scale design that optimizes string tension so that the lower strings have a longer scale compared to the higher strings, resulting in consistently excellent tone and performance at all points across the fingerboard. Its high-end components include a set of acclaimed Nordstrand Big Splits hum-cancelling pickups, along with an ABQ-3MS 3-band EQ. This setup gives you incredible flexibility in tone, with an active/passive mini-switch, a mid-frequency selection mini-switch (800Hz or 400Hz), individual bass, treble, and mid EQ controls, and master volume and balance controls.
