Loudwire Interviews Gary Holt (Slayer/Exodus)

We love the folks at Loudwire... especially our bro Squiggy, who handles their Gear Factor reports. In a recent video and article on their site, Squiggy hung out with legendary ESP player and thrash metal icon Gary Holt, who is in the midst of the ongoing Slayer Farewell tour. They talked about Gary's early influences, who included Ritchie Blackmore and Ted Nugent ("... not politically, but guitar-wise... I'm able to separate the two."). Then Squiggy asked Gary about his guitars being used on the Slayer tour.

Squiggy: The GH-600, for an LTD guitar... it's unbelievable!

Gary: I still play them live! I use one on "Angel of Death" every night. With the current status of my fuckin' bad back, you know, going to that lighter guitar is awesome. And it sounds throaty and chunky as shit! The LTD is like... I would have killed to have a guitar of that quality back when I was a kid!
