Aaron Deal (Darkest Hour) on the LTD JC-4FM

Aaron Deal, bass player of D.C.-based metal band Darkest Hour, has been a fan of the ESP Stream bass style for some time now. In this video, he tries out the LTD Signature Series JC-4FM from John Campbell of Lamb of God. The JC-4FM has all the punchy, full-frequency tone you could want in a bass via its EMG 35P4X and EMG 35JX active pickups, along with an EMG BTC 2-band EQ that's accessed in a stacked control knob. It offers a dense swamp ash body and a super stable five-piece maple/purple heart neck, with a pau ferro fingerboard that has custom inlays and 21 extra-jumbo frets, as well as glow-in-the-dark side markers. Other premier-level components on the JC-4FM bass include Hipshot Ultralite tuners, and a Hipshot A Style bridge.
