    I really like this body/hardware color scheme it's basically the exact same as the JTV 89, I just wish there were other models that had this color.

      HI Anthony, Yes this is a classic color that we've typically limited to the EC and Viper body styles. It's not common to find this look on any of the other models.

            I love this color, but I'm not a huge fan of the Viper shape personally. Is there any possibility that an EC-256 with this same finish could be coming in the future?

                I just checked Guitar Center, and they have an EC-256FM with Black Cherry Burst. Not the same, but I do like it.

                    Is it possible to get a black one or do you have any old stock that are black?

                    Need a black 6 string. Saw Vinnie Stigma playing one of these and had to get one. I own two but want a black one.

                      Hi TimNEd, We don't currently have this one available in black. Your best bet is to check online to see if any dealers have any old stock available. It was discontinued about 2 years ago.

                          I wish I could see these in person at local guitar stores but they never seem to have them. I'd like to try one! I live in Cincinnati, OH in the United States.

                            Hi Dolf, We're sorry to hear that you can't find one of these. There are more dealers online these days, but if you don't want to go that route the best you can do is ask one of your local dealers if they can get this and allow you to try it before you buy.
