AreĀ the ec-401 and the ec-1000 bodies the same thickness?
I have also seen the ltd ec401 for sale online and the ec401 is on the truss rod cover not on the 12th fret?
Hi Darrin, yes we changed our 12th fret inlay last year. It used to be on the 12th fret inside a block. Now we put the model name on the truss rod cover and we put a standard inlay shape at the 12th fret.
Hi Darrin, Yes most of them are the same thickness. They use our standard Eclipse archop body which is thinner than a LP. But if you find a model called EC-1000T or EC-401VF (old model), those are full thickness like a LP. The name was also taken off the 12th fret block. That is standard now (name on truss cover).
